Method

What is verified, what is not, and how to read a page on this site.

Every page carries a check date

Each tool record has a lastChecked field and each pricing block carries its own verification date. If a price could not be confirmed against the vendor page, the field is left empty and the page says so instead of guessing. An empty price is more useful than a wrong one.

What we verify

  • Plan structure and published prices, read from the vendor's own pricing page.
  • Which platform each tool runs on, and whether an API key is required.
  • Whether the agent executes shell commands, and whether an OS-level sandbox exists.
  • Whether audit logging exists and on which tier.

What we do not publish

  • Benchmark scores we did not run ourselves.
  • "Best of" rankings that cannot be reproduced from the fields on the page.
  • Affiliate-driven ordering. Outbound links are marked and do not change ordering.

Corrections

Pricing and feature gates in this category change monthly. If a page is stale, the fastest fix is a report with the vendor URL and the date you saw it — see submit.
